coffee balls

Ingredients for 8 balls

● 2 cups of espresso coffee
● 250 gr of dry biscuits
● 70 gr of sugar
● 90 gr of chopped almonds
● 30 gr of butter
● 300 gr of dark chocolate


First, remove the butter from the refrigerator to soften it.
Then prepare the coffee. For these coffee balls we recommend the 101CAFFE’ Sicilia blend which combines the notes of almonds with those of dark chocolate with extraordinary harmony.
Let the coffee cool and in the meantime proceed with the preparation of the other ingredients.
Chop the cookies and then the almonds and put them together in a container. Add the sugar and butter. Now pour the coffee.
Mix everything well, until the consistency becomes right to form balls, as if they were meatballs. At this
point, melt the chocolate in a small saucepan until it has reached a creamy (not liquid) consistency.
Prepare a sheet of baking paper next to the pan, because you are going to dip the balls, one by one, in melted chocolate, and then place them on the baking paper.
Once cooled, put the coffee balls in the ramekins and place in the fridge for a couple of hours.
Coffee balls can be enjoyed one after the other, just like cherries!
