Like the famous “cherry on cake top”, the icing is that essential element to complete the preparation of crêpes, pancakes, waffles and other “base” desserts.
Coffee will give a special effect to this recipe!


  • 150 gr of dark chocolate
  • 120 ml of coffee (3 espresso cups) Grigna 
  • 75 gr of sugar
    15 gr of margarine


  1. Prepare the 3 espresso cups of coffee
  2. Pour it into a saucepan
  3. Add the sugar and margarine while stirring
  4. Bring to a boil
  5. Turn the heat to low and add the chocolate
  6. Keep stirring until the chocolate has melted
  7. Remove from the heat and mix again until the mixture is homogeneous
  8. Let it cool down

The coffee icing is now ready: before pouring it over your dessert with a spoon, stir it a little more to make sure it looks uniform.
Also delicious on fruit and gelato or…. eaten by the spoonfuls!
