101RECIPES: Mascarpone and coffee cream – Nonna Anna’s Recipe
Nonna Anna, mother (of our founder, Umberto Gonnella), grandmother and great-grandmother, prepared a delicious mascarpone cream and coffee for us to enjoy with her legendary ciambella from the Marche region.
Try it yourself! It’s very simple to make and has a great “yummy” effect!
So good that we ate it by the spoonful!
- 2 cups of espresso coffee (for this recipe we use Gran Milano premium blend)
- 250 gr Mascarpone cheese
- 80 gr of sugar
- 1 sachet of vanillin
Prepare the coffee (we recommend the Gran Milano by 101CAFFE’, or other top quality coffee) and let it cool.
Meanwhile, put the mascarpone and sugar in a bowl and mix.
Add the coffee a little at a time and mix again. Now add the vanilla and mix everything with the help of a whisk (electric or manual) until you have obtained a soft and homogeneous cream.
Now you can spread this delicious coffee mascarpone cream on a ciambella, or on your favorite cookies!
If you want to give it a choreographic touch, lightly dust the mascarpone cream with a little bit of ground coffee and some coffee beans!
