101RECIPES: Tiramisu tartufini

Small but irresistible, tiramisu tartufini are like cherries: it’s hard to stop at just one.
Few ingredients, little time needed, lots of deliciousness. For those who love the sweet and soft life.

Tiramisu tartufini


  • 50 ml of coffee (= 1 cup)
  • 200 gr of Savoiardi biscuits
  • 200 gr of mascarpone cheese
  • 50 gr of icing sugar
  • Cocoa powder to taste



For the tiramisu tartufini recipe, the first thing to prepare is, as always, the coffee. We chose the Rubicone from the 101CAFFE’ Premium line for the intensity of its aromas, perfect for this recipe.
Set aside to let it cool, and in the meantime chop the Savoiardi biscuits in a food processor. Add mascarpone cheese, sugar and coffee, and mix all the ingredients well. Then use a spoon to scoop out enough of the mixture to form tartufini, i.e. small balls with a diameter of about 4 cm that you will make with your hands. Once the balls are formed, lightly poke them in the center with a finger to make the necessary space to fill with Nutella or other chocolate cream. Close up the balls, rolling them well, so that the cream stays in the middle. The final operation: dip your tiramisu tartufini in the cocoa (that you have placed in a small bowl) and put them in the fridge. After an hour or so, they will be ready to be enjoyed, one by one, in all their sublime tastiness.
