PRIVACY INFORMATION NOTE
This page describes website management in relation to the processing of the personal data of users having access thereto. Data are always processed in accordance with the principles of lawfulness and fairness and with the rules in force, and suitable data security measures are taken.
Data are kept for a period of time necessary to the purposes of data processing and in accordance with the rules in force.
This information note is given only for the aforesaid website owned by 101CAFFE' and not for any other websites that are visited by the user through links. The latter are autonomous Data Controllers, so reference should be made to their websites.
This information note is based also on Recommendation no. 2/2001 that was adopted by the Working Party on the Protection of Personal Data set up by art. 29 of Directive no. 9546EC on 17 May 2001, to establish certain minimum requirements for collecting personal data on-line and, specifically, the methods, time and nature of information to be supplied by Data Controllers to users when connecting to web pages, regardless of the purposes of such connection.
Types of data processed and processing methods
Personal data can always be processed by 101CAFFE’ to fulfil a statutory, regulatory or Community law obligation and to enforce or defend any right thereof.
101CAFFE’ may communicate such data to public authorities, judicial entities, the police force, lawyers/legal advisors, post offices/carriers, if needed.
The computer systems and software procedures that ensure the operation of this website acquire, in the course of their normal operations, some personal data whose transmission is implied in the use of Internet communication protocols.
Such information is not collected to be associated with identified interests though, by its very nature, it may lead to the identification of users when processed and associated with third party data.
This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) form addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the reply given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and computer environment.
These data are used solely to obtain anonymous, statistical information on website usage and to check its correct operation, and are cancelled immediately after processing. Such data may be used to ascertain responsibility in case of computer crimes damaging the website.

The Data Processor whom the user may contact to obtain the complete list of other Data Processors, if any, and to enforce the rights granted by art. 7 of Leg. Decree 196/03, as and when established by law, is Umberto Gonnella, the owner of 101CAFFE'.

Art. 7 (Right of access to personal data and other rights)
1. Data subjects are entitled to obtain confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning them, even if not yet registered, and their communication in an intelligible form.
2. Data subjects are entitled to be informed:
a) of the origin of personal data;
b) of the purpose and method of data processing;
c) of the logics applied in case of data processed by electronic means;
d) of the details of the Data Controller, Data Processor and designated representative within the meaning of article 5, paragraph 2;
e) of the subjects or categories of subjects to whom personal data may be communicated or who may acquire them in their capacity as designated representative in Italy, data processors or subjects entrusted with data processing.
3. Data subjects are entitled to obtain:
a) the updating, rectification or, when interested, integration of data;
b) the cancellation, transformation into an anonymous form or blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed;
c) certification that the operations mentioned in letters a) and b) have been made known, including with regard to their content, to those to whom the data were communicated or disseminated, except where this requirement proves impossible or involves the use of means manifestly disproportionate to the protected right.
4. Data subjects may object, in full or in part:
a) for legitimate reasons, to the processing of their personal data, even where pertaining to the purpose for which such data were collected;
b) to the processing of their personal data for the purpose of sending advertising or direct sales material or to carry out market research or commercial communications.
Scope of communication and dissemination
No data deriving from the web service (i.e. the said navigation data and cookies) will be communicated or disseminated (subject to communication to the judicial authorities and the police, where necessary).
Personal data are processed by staff specifically entrusted with data processing (data processors and their collaborators, administrative staff, people entrusted with the management of the information system and of the website, even not within the Company, marketing staff, people entrusted with the specific sector for which the user's request is intended) only when such processing is required to fulfil their duties and solely to carry out the operations required to perform such duties.
Personal data may also be processed by data processors (including external shipping and server management co
mpanies). Such external companies may assign data processing to specific entities, which may perform the same activities and process data for the same purposes for which the data processors have been appointed by 101CAFFE'.
The data supplied by the user may be communicated to subjects who are required to communicate data either by law or to enforce a legitimate right of the company before the competent bodies, and they may also be communicated to carriers/couriers for the shipment of requested 101CAFFE' materials or products.
A cookie is a small text file that is stored automatically onto the user's computer or device whenever the user visits the website; this allows us, on the occasion of each subsequent visit, to track the user's choices and thus offer an efficient and targeted navigation experience.
Technical session cookies
The use of so-called session cookies is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (casual numbers generated by the server) to ensure the secure and efficient navigation of the website.
The so-called session cookies used in this website do not use other computer techniques that might compromise the confidentiality of the user's navigation and do not allow for the acquisition of the user's personal data. These cookies are treated electronically.
Third party profiling/advertising cookies
These cookies collect information on the user's navigation habits in order to send important and targeted advertising. Third parties are autonomous data controllers, so reference should be made to their information notes on data processing.
