Today we are going to tell you the story of the Trotta Family, our “historic” franchisee working in Emilia. They opened their 101CAFFE’ in Piacenza in August 2013. Celebrating these 8 years of working together fills us with great pride. They joined our franchise with enthusiasm when 101CAFFE’ was not yet the well-known brand and market leader as it is today. This franchisee immediately believed in us, and we in them. We grew up together, overcoming difficult times and celebrating great successes.

The secrets of the success of 101CAFFE’ PIACENZA

Entering their shop means leaving all your problems outside and forgetting that time exists, because they know how to inspire that good mood and trust which is not easy to find in most shops. The success of Franco, Antonio and Floreta can be summed up in 3 simple words: “teamwork”!

Let’s start with Franco and Floreta: not only are they father/daughter-in-law but also truly a winning couple in sales! Franco is a passionate man, he studies everything about coffee and the products on sale and it is a pleasure to listen to him when he describes the blends, the origins and the curious facts related to 101CAFFE’s Premium coffee beans. He knows everything about the organoleptic properties of drinks, and he proudly exhibits in the shop his Accademia Italiana Maestri del Caffè certificate, which he achieved through hard work and perseverance. Thanks to Franco, upon entering you can breathe the culture and tradition of Made in Italy, in full 101CAFFE’ style.
Floreta, with her sweetness and vigour, satisfies the clientele that is less thirsty for culture and more for shopping! And then, there is promotions, she really knows how to do it! Antonio, her husband, as well as Franco’s son, plays the role of coordinator and constantly monitors how they achieve their turnover targets. Their family reunions are real business meetings during which Antonio presents the data at the end of the month and then shares the objectives to be reached! A perfectly in tune team, where everyone has their own role and where helping others has a concrete meaning, which is to correct each other, to grow together!

Antonio Franco and Floreta understood the value of our Franchising right away: not being tradesmen and having always worked in other sectors, they decided to become part of an organized Retail chain that could guide them in through this market, which has excellent growth prospects but at the same time is also very competitive. For them, asking for the support of the parent company when needed is natural, and has always been a good rule of thumb. We shared all the most important strategic choices, especially when they decided to move their store to their city’s high street, an important step that produced excellent results.
